Owl Furniture’s Meditation Stool is a comfortable and aesthetic solution designed to meet the needs of meditators who have limited flexibility. It provides all the postural benefits of the Owl Stool by removing pressure from the sit bones and the lower spine, supporting optimal spinal alignment.

We offer the OM in rich, natural American cherry with ash legs. It features rounded front corners for greater comfort while sitting with crossed legs.  The OM Stool slopes 2″, from 10″ high in the back to 8″ in the front, however the height can be personalized for your comfort. Our all wood Owl Kitchen Stools are 24″ high with a natural hardwood cherry seat which measures 17″ wide and 15″ deep and ash legs, both from sustainably harvested American woods.  The kitchen stool fits perfectly under any standard kitchen counter.  Please feel free to call or email us if you need help figuring out how high your stools should be. The stool should stand about 12″ lower than the surface of the table or counter where it is to be used. Other 4 legged stool heights are available. Musician’s Owl Stool

This version of the Owl is adapted for the musician who would like to rest one foot on the stretcher while the other foot remains on the ground for keeping time. Especially great for guitar players!

Although it is 2″ taller than a standard seat, the 20″ height still works comfortably for most at a table or desk.

The Musician’s stool is offered with the Pro seat to allow for more freedom of movement for your legs across the front of the stool.

A MUSICIAN’S STORY
Kenya suffered a serious back injury as a child and found sitting for long periods playing her cello was uncomfortable. Last fall her mother and brother came to one of our workshops where he made Kenya an Owl Stool as a Christmas gift. When we visited her a few months later she beamed as she described how much more comfortable she is now. She said of the first time she sat in an Owl stool,
“ . . . my back just instantly relaxed, and that had never happened in a chair before.”
